RonJGlas Depression Formulation

Almost 10% of adults suffer from a depressive condition (major depression, bipolar disorder, or dysthymia).
Depression pre-clinical study
In this pre-clinical study, we exposed mice administered with our specific formula to the Forced Swim Test. We used the antidepressant drug desipramine as internal positive control.
The Forced Swimming Test (FST), is one of the most commonly used assays for the study of depressive-like behaviour in rodents. The FST is based on the assumption that when placing an animal in a container filled with water, it will first make efforts to escape but eventually will exhibit immobility that may be considered to reflect a measure of behavioural despair. This test has been extensively used because it involves the exposure of the animals to stress, which was shown to have a role in the tendency for major depression.

Male mice (4-6 months) were used for his pre-clinical trial the cannabinoid mixtures was administered at a dose of of 50 mg/kg (oral gavage).
The antidepressant drug Desipramine (20 mg/kg i.p.) was used as internal positive control. The eleventh day depressive status was tested through the forced swimming test.
The Forced Swimming Test is a well- rodent behavioural test used for evaluation of
antidepressant drugs, antidepressant efficacy of new compounds, and experimental manipulations
that are aimed at rendering or preventing depressive-like states. Mice are placed in an inescapable transparent tank that is filled with water and their escape related mobility behaviour is measured. The test is based on the lack of interest in escaping from a dangerous situation like being in water. In fact, time of immobilisation reflects such behavioural response.
The antidepressant Desipramine co-treatment resulted in a decreased immobile time of +- 140 sec of immobility time. Surprisingly The effect of our formulation was statistically significant and greater than that induced by Desipramine. +-120 sec of immobility time in the yellow column.
Our formula was clearly found to reduce immobile time thus indicating antidepressant properties.
The effect was statistically significant and greater than that induced by Desipramine.
It appears this is the first anti-depressive formulas in which only a very low concentration of psychoactive components needs to be included. THC is well below 0,2% which is a great upside for the user.
Effects and side effects
This formula has anti-depressive properties and has has a low concentration of psychoactive components (<0,2% THC). Its key advantage over synthetic depression pills lies in the presence of a basic nitrogen in its molecules and lower ki-values. These allow for lower dosages and reduced dissociation from target receptors, minimizing adverse effects while optimizing it’s mood properties.
